Inspections

We are finishing up the house. The final step is to close the building permit. Last week we I had the fire department and the plumbing inspector in to do their final inspections. The plumbing inspection passed, but the fire department inspection failed. We did such a large addition that we need three more smoke detectors. The electrician is coming in on Wednesday to install the additional smoke detectors, and then we can get the fire department back in and also get the electrical inspection done.

When the electrical, plumbing and fire department are done, then the building inspector will come out to inspect the rest of the building.
