The wall is gone.

Dick removed the wall between the addition and the porch. Currently it is 22 degrees in the porch. There should be a temporary wall added shortly and I will put back the heat.

Look what they did to the porch.

Dick and Peter were installing the rough wiring. They wanted to add the wiring to the new kitchen (the old porch). They moved all of the boxes that we had in the porch to the current kitchen and proceeded to remove siding and doors. It's time to move boxes again. 

Bathroom layout.

David suggested that we place the shower to right and the toilet to the left (better view from the toilet). The bathroom has been build to his specification. If we can get him to come to the house again, we have more rooms that need to be designed.

Installing trim.

Dick is working on the trim around the garage window and we have been moving boxes from the old house to the new house. We 0nly have a week left to clean out the old house. The closing for the old house should be next Friday.

The trim and siding have been started.

This section of the house is located in the middle of the garage. We have trim and some siding. We have not picked a color yet.

There they are!

The boxes got moved to the porch, and you wouldn't believe what the basement looks like.

We moved stuff for three days, here is a picture of the front room. (we even moved the piano).

Moving day

We have the purchase and sale for the old house, so we need to move stuff out of the old house. But first we need to move stuff in the new house to make room. It will be a long day

Getting ready for trim and siding

All of the garage windows, the bathroom windows and a basement door have been installed.


More bathroom windows and basement windows.

Next is trim work.

Supports in the Garage.

Dick installed curved collar ties in the garage. They will be used to support the garage doors.
Also we had a temporary door in the back of the garage that has been closed up.

New Front Door

The new front door has arrived. The unique part of this door, is the side windows. The side windows have screens and they open from the inside. So this front door is realy three front doors.
