Before and After #3

The first picture show the bushes around the front door. (you can see the peak of the roof over the front door.

After the bushes and the front steps were removed you could get a good look at the house.

The old front door was removed and replaced with a window. The replacement window is the second window from the right.

This group of before and after pictures show the removal of the bushes and the new siding. Dick has a very good eye for what looks good.

We are almost done with the house, so I thought that I would put up some before and after picture so you can see what we did for the past 15 months. The only way to tell what is old vs new is to look for the chimney.

Garage is done.

The new lights came for the outside of the garage and I installed them this morning. The windows in the garage doors have been changed from a 6 pane to a single pane. The openers are working. The last thing that needs to be done is to get the trash taken to the transfer station.

Garden diver.

Will has a garden toy at the whalom house. He just learned how to get into the garden with out using the gate. This is the third or forth time he entered the garden by leaning over the wall and diving into the garden. We loved the entertainment.

Sewing room floor.

This morning I put the second coat of tung oil on the floor in the sewing room. I will add one more coat tomorrow, and the last floor in the house is done.

We are changing the design of the garage doors. This is our test. Can you see the difference?
