I got a rocking moose for Christmas. It was one of my favorite gifts.

Christmas "Will Hiding from Santa"

At the family party, Dick arranged to have Santa make a quick stop. Everyone enjoyed Santa except for Will. He is hiding in back of Lauren.

Winter Visitor

Look who showed up this week for a visit. I still can't believe that a bald eagle is in the area. To get a good look at the bird, double click on the image.

Screen Storage

The house has 50 windows in it, and each window has a screen. We like to take the screens out for the winter, because we get more light into the house and the view is better. I built a box to hold all of the screens. When I started to build a box, I thought that it would be a small project, until I got all of the window screens in one place, and measured how big the box needed to be. Three sheets of plywood later the box was done.

More Cabinets.

I got a couple more kitchen cabinets mounted in the basement. Now, I have found a place for all of the old kitchen cabinets.

Roomba

I picked up a roomba last week from woot.com (I use the link off of Christine's blog). I have spent a number of days playing with it, It seems to clean well, but it does eat the fringe on the rugs. I have only used it in the rooms that I can take the rugs out of.

It is a little hard to get a picture of it in operation, because it is always moving.
