Grass

Boy, it's hard work growing grass, you have to sit and watch it when ever you have any spare time. This is three weeks worth of work. I can't promise not to have any more grass pictures but I will try not to include any more.

Friends from College

Labor day weekend, two friends from college came to visit. We ate steamers on the porch and made it to the the Minuteman National Park between Lexington and Concord. It was a beautiful weekend. I added this picture because I know the Cindy reads the blog every now and then. So here is a picture of Cindy, Terry and Linda at the North Bridge in Concord.

A little progress on the boat

Now that I am not building walls and planting grass, I had a little time to work on the boat again. I got one of the motors mounted in the boat, and the tubes, wires and hoses connected to the motor.

Growing Grass

On Labor Day, I got the grass planted. We have been watering the dirt since then and checking every day for grass. Today I saw that the grass has started to grow.

Here is a closer look at the new grass. It's small but it is growing.

Last week vacation in Alaska

Last week we took a vacation in Alaska. I have include a few pictures of the animals that we saw when we were in Denali National Park and Seward. The blog server is having issues so I'll add more pictures later. The first picture is of brown bears, a long way away.
We also saw Puffins in Seward.
