Furniture has left.

Arron, Christine, Ally and Evan came to visit on Monday. They loaded up the furniture that Christine volunteered to take. We do bribe folks to come and visit.

Painting this weekend.

We were a little busy this weekend, but I did manage to get the siding on the basement painted. The siding was rough pine and it was starting to weather, and it had not been painted before, so it was time to give it a coat of paint.

Regatta in the Basement.

Last weekend Ryan and I tried to run the old model sail boats. We were not successful, it has been a long time since they have been used. This week I spent some time getting the boats to work again. With the boats setup to work on, it looked like I was staging a regatta.

Free Furniture

We have some furniture that we are not going to need in the new house. I am offering this to the blog readers before we find another way to get ride of it. There is a coffee table that is (48"x 30") and an oak corner cabinet. If you want one of the pieces of furniture give us a call.

The bushes are growing.

Last May we planted some bushes. The bushes on the right and the far left are andromedas. The second picture shows how much the plant on the left has grown in a year.

More Yard Work.

Last weekend, I finished up another section of the yard. In our front yard, I planted some more blueberry bushes, and some day Lilly's. I also built a stone walk way and spread some mulch.

The Little House

Linda and I went to the Cape last weekend. While we where there, we drove past the big house and the little house. The new owners have started to fix up the little house. It has a new roof, new windows, the porch has been replaced and the fence in the back yard has been removed.

Here is a picture of the back of the little house. The house also has a new foundation and it looks like a deck will be added to the back of the house.

School Supplies

This past weekend, I was going to work in the yard, but it rained. I ended up building shelves in the attic for Linda's school supplies. I also needed to find some more milk crates to fill the empty shelves.
