Marie in the art garage.

I got my Christmas present from Ben framed this weekend. The lego picture of Marie is now hung in a place of honor in the art garage. I am amazed how much the portrait looks like Marie.

Dinning Room Table done.

I finally got the table extensions done. I was trying to get them done by Christmas, but with the power outage for 2 weeks, the extension were not done for Christmas. I have included a number of pictures to show how we are going to use the extensions. Also, thanks to Rich, we got some matching dining room chairs.

The first picture shows the table with 4 chairs and no extensions.


Now we have the two circular end tables added and seats for 6.

I built a 12 inch width leaf for the table and with the leaf installed we can seat 8 .

Finally with the old leaf, the new leaf and two circular tables we can get to seats for 10.

Lego Marie

Ben gave me a picture of Marie for Christmas. He made this picture out of legos. The picture is 64 legos by 64 legos. He had to take a picture and reduce the resolution of the picture. He then had to map the colors in the picture to that available lego brick colors. He then went on a search to get bulk legos that would match the colors in the picture.
